It was so nice today. We took Lily Ann to the park. Here are some pics of her showing off her dance moves, riding a turtle and getting better acquainted with the slide. We all had fun.

The finalists were Jenny, Millie & Naomi. Congratulations to all of them. We had a landslide victory though, for little Jenny. What a doll. Thanks to everyone who voted - and to all the adorable participants!

The entries have been sent out to some unbiased and reliable judges. I'm waiting on some of them to get back to me with results. By March 8th, I think all the results will be in so that I can post the top three photo finalists. Beginning that day you'll be able to vote on the blog for your favorite baby picture. Voting will continue through March 15th . The winning picture will be announced on the weblog on or around March 16th. The finalists and the winner will also be notified by email.

Thank you, thank you, thank you - for all the sweet baby pictures. I'm going to send them off to a couple of impartial third-party judges to get the entries narrowed down to three finalists. I'm SO glad that I'm not the one making this call. All the pictures are so very very adorable. Anyway - check back for the finalists. Then you can vote on your favorite cutie.

(One of my brothers) Okay - for those of you who are still looking for the perfect photo to submit . . . hurry up. You've only got until the end of the month to email your entry to: adamswifeamanda@yahoo.com . I also wanted to give some details on judging and the like. The top three photos will be selected by an impartial judge (friend of mine :). THEN - those three photos will be on my blogpage and anyone who hits my page can vote on the cutest photo. Here's a picture of Lily Ann and her daddy. We had a picnic tonight at a beautiful and historic park in our city. We took the city bus and had a great time. I love being married to that man. And I adore being the mother of Lily Ann. I couldn't ask for better company on Valentine's Day.

. . . . . . . Lily Ann has taken to drinking tea lately. Most of the tea that I've been drinking is herbal and decaf these days - so one day, after my tea had cooled quite a bit, I offered her a sip. She loved it. And now, she insists on her own cup. She asks for it by name. "Hot tea," she says. And she likes to drink hers from a cup similar to the one I'm using. I must admit, I love having tea with her. It is one of my favorite things that we do together.
